CLIENT: QUEENSLAND GOVERNMENT / GIICA
PROJECT: COMMUNITY STORYTELLING

THE BRIEF
For National Volunteer Week, the Queensland Government through the Games Independent Infrastructure and Coordination Authority wanted to shine a spotlight on the incredible volunteers who support their programs and events. They approached Content Crew to produce a series of community-focused stories that celebrated these individuals and their contributions.

OUR APPROACH

Content Crew managed the full production process, from concept development to final delivery. Filming took place at a single location, for around 4 hours, capturing volunteers in action — from event coordination to behind-the-scenes contributions — giving viewers an intimate look at their commitment. Our team then crafted each story into compelling video narratives, carefully editing footage to highlight personal motivation, community impact, and the sense of connection volunteers experience.

THE RESULT

The series of videos successfully:

  • Elevated the voices of volunteers across Queensland

  • Highlighted the positive impact volunteering has on individuals and communities

  • Delivered engaging content that aligned with both the Queensland Government and Games Authority brand guidelines

  • Supported National Volunteer Week campaigns across social and digital channels, encouraging broader participation

KEY HIGHLIGHTS

  • End-to-end production from pre-production, filming, to post-production

  • Authentic, community-focused storytelling

  • Content optimised for social and digital engagement

  • Strengthened public recognition and celebration of volunteering efforts
